Should he stay or should he go?

I realised this morning that in the last two years I’ve lived in two countries which have seen major political shifts to the right: Canada went Conservative with prime minister Stephen Harper, and now France has elected Nicolas Sarkozy. Although we won’t be getting the luxury of an election to choose our next PM in Britain this year, I am slightly concerned if I move back to the UK I might trigger another Conservative government… until then, enjoy this performance by Mr. Blair, who has finally been more specific about when he’ll leave office. As the BBC political editor Nick Robinson commented, it took him 952 days to do so…
